General Information Travel to Berlin is easy by plane or by train. The international airports of Berlin (Tegel and Schönefeld) as well as the Main Railway Station (Hauptbahnhof) are connected to the conference venue by public transport.
For participants from non-EU countries (except USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Japan) a visa may be required for entering Germany. Please consult the German embassy in your country or check the german department for foreign affairs for more details. |

| Venue msb2008 will be held in Berlin at the newly refurbished Henry Ford Building of the Freie Universität Berlin southwest of the city center. Inaugurated in 1954, the building is a symbol of the university and is fondly known for the ceremony with US President John F. Kennedy when, on June 26, 1963, he proclaimed the famous words: „Ich bin ein Berliner“.
